Ground Chicken Hoisin
This recipe for Ground Chicken Hoisin is one of those recipes that I forget how much I like until I make it. Then I wonder why I don’t make it more often! It’s ready in 20 minutes low in fat, and the rich complex sweet, spicy, umami sauce is out of this world.
A little sweet from the Hoisin and Mirin a little heat from Sambal Olek (garlic chile sauce), and a little pop of freshness from the garlic and fresh ginger. What’s not to like?

Weekly meal prep
I love recipes that are prepaheadable and require very little work to get dinner on the table during the week. Ground Chicken Hoisin would make an excellent addition to your weekly meal prep.
On the day of prep, simply put all the sauce ingredients into a small mason jar with a lid. On cooking day just shake up the sauce, brown the chicken and dinner is served.
